The Light Bites Cafe at The Willow Centre opened in May 2007 under the management of The Beaver Community Trust (the Trust set up to handle the finances of The Willow Centre).
 
The Beaver Community Trust has also been involved in running the Light Bites Cafe at the Ray Allen Centre (another Children's Centre in South Ashford) for the past 11 months. This too has been going well and the cafe is often used as a meeting place for friends and for families to eat together.
Much marketing has been produced to encourage the people living in the area and businesses, to use both cafes for breakfast, light lunches and buffets. Most of the food is freshly prepared on the premises and a range of homemade cakes and biscuits are usually available.
